The Man in the High Castle

An instruction book on how to approach the I Ching

The TV Series is Good. The book is Great. The Man in the High Castle casts Americans as having Japanese as an overlord — American need to adapt to Asian culture if they want to make any money at all.

That means in the book version everyone is casting the I Ching - both Japanese and American - sharing their internal dialog of how to ask questions and interpret the answers.

iChing.Wiki walks you though how to prepare for casting the I Ching.

The Man in the High Castle is the “advanced course.” Of all of the advice as to how to approach the I Ching on websites and in books, this cult-classic still remains the best. After playing around with the I Ching and struggling to understand how to use it, it was after reading this book that I finally “got it."
